The Legal Rights Defenders Council (LRDC) successfully organized a Legal Awareness Camp at Perambur Community Hall in Chennai. The event aimed to educate citizens about their fundamental rights, legal remedies, and free legal aid options available to them.
Advocates from the Madras High Court, along with local police officials, addressed over 150+ participants, offering practical insights into topics like consumer protection, domestic violence laws, and right to information (RTI).
The session concluded with an open Q&A, where community members raised concerns about local legal challenges. LRDC also distributed pamphlets and brochures to help people navigate the legal system with more confidence.
