In celebration of International Women’s Day, LRDC hosted a Women’s Rights Workshop in Kanchipuram. The event highlighted important laws safeguarding women such as the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, POSH Act, and Dowry Prohibition Act.
Notable speakers included Adv. Priya Suresh, a women’s rights activist, who delivered an inspiring talk on legal empowerment and self-awareness. The workshop drew over 100+ attendees, including working professionals, homemakers, and college students.
LRDC is committed to promoting gender justice and will continue conducting such events across Tamil Nadu in 2025.
